Playing it cool… (Behind every such pic there are 2 crazy toddlers exploring dirt and bugs 😂🤣) @esperosvillas_pelion #esperospelion #southpelion #lafkos #villasforrent #infinitypool #esperosvillas_pelion #villaswithpool #thessaly #DreamistaInPelion #dreamistatraveling #dreamistastyle #travelstyle #twinmomlife #twinmum #momstyle #lifewelltraveled
Esperos is perched on a beautiful hill at the edge of Lafkos village, offering a breathtaking view to the bay, the sea front village of Milina and the sunset beyond the bay. It took us 10-15 minutes walk through the cobblestone alleys to reach Lafkos square, where all the taverns are located, together with the bakery, the grocery shops and the traditional kafenio. Esperos is also easily accessible by car from the main road coming from Argalasti. Meaning that you don’t have to enter the alleys to get there, though the road was not done or lit when we went there, but it will be done before summer 😉
Suites & Villas
There are 5 50 sm loft suites for up to 3 persons, 2 50 sm junior suites for up to 4 people, 1 90 sm loft villa for up to 7 people and 1 50 sm junior villa that can host up to 5 people. We stayed for 3 nights in one of the junior suites. It had a bed room with a queen bed and two baby cots, an accessible bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious living area for the twins to play and an amazing patio with sea view. Our car was parked right outside, as well as our travel strollers. The infinity pool was like 5 steps away.
Since Esperos hosts villas and suites, it is not equipped with a restaurant and doesn’t serve breakfast. A breakfast basket is available in-room, with fruits, bread, olives), which we added to every day. I recommend you arrive here after lunch and having bought some supplies from Argalasti.
The Infinity Pool
It might be 100% accessible, but it is not baby or toddler friendly. It is ideal for adults, older kids and parents of stroller babies. The view is amazing!
All suites and villas are spacious, with sofa beds, a separate bedroom located in another floor even, for extra privacy. The kitchen is a must in every family trip, even if you don’t cook. But I for example was happy to prepare breakfast for everyone and was delighted to be able and wash our baby accessories (bibs, cups, plates) there. There are baby cots and baby chairs available upon request. Our car and strollers were parked right outside. And since Lafkos is the cool mountain accommodation option during your summer break in the area, the pool is a must too. Especially if you’re traveling with kids. Because Milina might be just 10 minute drive, but it’s great to have the option to just spend a day or two (or three) at the hotel.
To cut a long story short, Esperos Suites & Villas brings together isolation with great views. Peace and quite with cobblestone alley walks. Family fun and privacy. Mountain and the beach. Tradition with simple luxury. I definitely suggest Esperos if you are traveling to Lafkos with kids and you need lots of room, a pool and a kitchen. And I definitely recommend Lafkos village if you are going for a beach vacay, but you love Pelion mountain and you are an alternative kind of family. But more about Lafkos here!
